JMU beats Alcorn St. 42-3!

Posted on 06:14 by Unknown

The Dukes destroyed Alcorn State by a final of 42-3 giving them a 2-0 record on the year as they head into a huge showdown with West VA at FedEx this Saturday.

Thus far, the Dukes, who have now outscored their two 2012 opponents by a total of 97-10.  Obviously West VA (a top 10 ranked football team) is a tough game for the Dukes but we are definitely a tough team to play.  We beat VA Tech a couple of years back so anything is possible.  The good thing is we have nothing to lose.  No one is expecting JMU to win so all the pressure is on the Mountaineers to beat us handily.  I believe it will be a tough game and I'm looking forward to it.

GO DUKES!!!

In other college football news, thanks to a ridiculously bad Penn St. kicker, UVA ekes out a slim win against Penn St.

W&M falls to Lafayette making them 0-2.
