Last week, Robs seemed to be instigating a brewing QB controversy in D.C. It was nonsense. Yes, moronic fans started some rumblings but it is/was all nonsense.
Bob had a good game against the Colts and showed that he is capable of running the offense. It should also be clear how much the talent drops when the starters come out. Everyone loved Cuz last week and this week Rexy got the nod and played very well going 8 for 8 with 2 TDs.
I like Rexy and think he is a solid backup. Theismann said during Rexy's performance that he was playing well and as a veteran that understands the system going up against lesser talent, he is supposed to perform the way he was playing. He's right. Most fans are morons and don't get that but the smarter fans and the coaches and players do so there is no legitimate QB controversy.
Still, if RG3 struggles over a good portion of the season, I don't doubt that Cuz would get a shot as I'm sure the coaches would want to see what they have in Cuz. However, as of now, there is no question in my mind that Bob is the best option we have. Now lets see what he can do.
