Hightower out for season; Moss out for extended time

Posted on 05:58 by Unknown
The Skins were fortunate to have avoided injuries this season until recently. Now the injuries are mounting. It's part of the game and teams have to deal with it; however, only 4 players on offense starting this week will be playing the position they played at the beginning of the season. Key offensive losses include:

Hightower
Moss
Williams
Cooley
Lichtensteiger

Probably the biggest loss is Moss as we have depth at RB with Torain and Helu. Locklear can fill in pretty well for Williams but I don't really care for Cook in at C. Davis can fill in for Cooley. I think we have pretty good depth there at offense.

Defensively, hopefully we can get Fletcher and Atogwe back as those are key players we need.

Again, injuries are part of the game and all teams have to deal with them. Still, when the amount of injuries start piling up, it can present a greater challenge.
