I get that there has been parity in the NFL for years but this year seems even more apparent that outside of GB (ggod), St. Louis (bad), and maybe NO (good), any team can beat any team. It makes for exciting and unpredictable weeks of football and it pretty much leaves the playoffs open to several teams.
It's also interesting how things can turn from week to week. A win one week can put teams right back in the thick of things and a loss can really push them back. The Skins and Pears are good examples of this where everyone was high on the Skins a couple of weeks ago but after two straight losses, they are down. Conversely, the Pears looked down a couple of weeks back but after two straight wins (coupled with two straight Lion losses), the Pears are right back in the thick of things.
TB can get blown out by the 49ers one week but come back and win the following week. It's a strange league right now with only a couple of front runners otherwise, it seems like it is wide open for most of the teams.
